Welcome back to Blackhawk
While I finish the publication process for TELL NO MAN, I’ve also started its follow-up, currently titled BLACKHAWK. The book will serve as the third part of a cycle that started with CRY DOWN DARK and includes a few short stories and the aforementioned TELL NO MAN. Since I’ve branched out on my own, I have better control of the timeline. If I knuckle down, I could have the book ready by the end of 2021. That’s not a promise, but I’m making it a goal.
I can’t tell you much about what I’m writing now, because you do need to read TELL NO MAN first. If you haven’t placed your order for it yet, you should. You don’t need to have read CRY DOWN DARK to enjoy TELL NO MAN, but it will help. But you’d definitely need to have both books to get the full effect of the new project.
I never intended to write a sequel to CRY DOWN DARK and TELL NO MAN isn’t quite a sequel. BLACKHAWK, however, could be considered a sequel to both of those books, rather than a third part of a trilogy. That might seem odd, but I promise to make it make sense. Your questions (What happened in Bern? for example), will be addressed. That’s not the same as answers because I believe questions are more interesting than answers.
For now, preorder TELL NO MAN, re-read CRY DOWN DARK, and find the Blackhawk stories in THE PRIVATE LIVES OF NIGHTMARES and ASLEEP IN THE NIGHTMARE ROOM. I am also working on some virtual events for the TELL NO MAN release. Keep watching the skies!
